The role involves completing and maintaining patient records, including evaluating and detailing resident progress, and planning, organizing, and conducting occupational therapy progress sessions. Responsibilities also include testing residents' physical and mental abilities to determine realistic rehabilitation goals and implementing programs to help patients adjust to handicaps.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistance program and hold a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Ohio. One to two years of related experience is preferred, along with the ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screenings.
