The CT Technologist arranges patients for Computed Tomography examinations and produces necessary CT images to assist in medical diagnoses. They are responsible for preventing unnecessary radiation exposure and ensuring patient safety through established imaging protocols.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and possess good interpersonal, communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and organizational skills. Required credentials include a current State License and ARRT (R) certification or eligibility.
