The Ambulatory Pharmacist provides patient-centered medication management support at both the population health and individual patient levels, serving as a pharmacy resource for interventions, education, and training within the Riverside Medical Group (RMG). Responsibilities include leading process improvement projects, participating in quality management, gathering and analyzing data, and ensuring regulatory compliance while performing all duties of a Clinical Pharmacist.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy and have a minimum of 2 years of Clinical Pharmacy experience. Required licensure includes being a Licensed Pharmacist in Virginia, and certification by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) in Ambulatory Care (or equivalent) must be obtained within three years.
