Minimum requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing and two years of critical care experience in specified areas, along with two years of clinical RN experience and valid RN licensure. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and four years of critical care experience.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT As a Transplant Coordinator, you would provide input and facilitate the donor referral, clinical management and organ recovery processes in order to maximize the number of transplantable organs and tissues using knowledge of critical care principles such as hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and administration of critical care medications. Completes medical and legal documentation of the organ recovery process and communicates with hospital development to ensure effective donor follow-up. Makes appropriate decisions regarding the complexity of the case and escalates to a higher level if necessary.

Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.
