The Physician Assistant will perform physical and psycho-social assessments, establish medical diagnoses, order and evaluate diagnostic tests, and manage follow-up care under general supervision with medical consultation. Responsibilities also include developing treatment plans, interpreting lab results, and providing preventative healthcare and counseling.
Candidates must possess a college degree as a Physician’s Assistant from a recognized university affiliated with a medical school. Preferred qualifications include two to five years of experience in a medical practice setting focusing on diagnosis, treatment, and patient education.
Under general supervision, and with medical consultation and direction, performs physical, psycho-social assessment; establishes medical diagnosis; orders and evaluate diagnostic tests; manages follow up care; does other related work as required. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, developing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting lab tests and results, along with providing preventative healthcare and counseling.
