The Cardiovascular (ARU) RN plays a pivotal role in patient care, acting as a bridge between doctors, patients and families. The Admit Recovery Unit RN is part of a supportive, collaborative team that provides superior patient care, in a highly skilled, fast paced environment. The ARU RN is responsibile for pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure recovery of invasive cardiology patients, receiving clinically advanced, lifesaving cardiac cath and electrophysiology procedures. This role is Monday-Friday, 3x12 hour day shift, with a late stay rotation; no weekends, no holidays, and no call.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS). KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED: BSN degree Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units. Work Hours: 6a-6:30p
Applicants must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing and hold an active, unrestricted RN license in the State of Georgia, along with current American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred qualifications include a BSN degree and two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse.
