The technologist will perform Diagnostic Radiologist Technologist and Computed Tomography examinations, including all associated clerical duties involving RPMS, EHR, training, and PACS systems. The role requires independent performance of CT exams and responsibility for all quality control of patient demographics and imagery.
Candidates must possess ARRT certification with a specialization in Computerized Tomography (CT) and have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a hospital setting. Required qualifications also include Basic Life Support certification and Image Gently/Image Wisely training, along with providing immunization records.
Certification from radiology organization such as American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with certification in Computerized Tomography (CT). Minimum of 2 years experience working in hospital setting. Basic Life Support certification Image Gently and Image Wisely certificate/training. Provide immunization records as proof of immunity or disease prior to the performance of work.
Be sensitive to the unique culture factors of the people treated at CSU, which may include use of an interpreter as necessary in communication of services being rendered. Unique cultural factors that may contribute to the patients’ treatment include: use of their language communications; village and tribal customs; use of traditional healers; isolation; housing conditions and lack of resources. Technologists shall be clean and neat in appearance and comply with the Service Unit dress code for professional Radiologic Technologist and present themselves in a professional manner commensurate with the nature of the profession and line of work.
