Registered Nurses will assess and monitor the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients, creating hospice care plans aligned with patient wishes. Key duties include directing nursing care, administering medications, managing pain and symptoms, educating families, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure in the state of operation, requiring at least one year of nursing experience, with three or more years preferred. A commitment to clinical excellence, knowledge of the hospice philosophy, and a licensed driver with an insured vehicle are also mandatory.
