Home Health Aides are responsible for providing non-medical caregiving services to seniors, which includes assisting clients with activities of daily living, providing companionship, and following personalized care plans. Duties also involve assisting with housekeeping and meal preparation for the clients.
Candidates must be certified as a Home Health Aide (HHA), STNA, CNA, or MA in North Carolina to be considered for this role. Essential soft skills include excellent communication abilities and a compassionate and empathetic attitude, along with the capacity to work independently.
