The Intake Registered Nurse provides telephonic and in-person risk assessment to aid physicians in determining the appropriate level of care for potential patients. This role coordinates the referral and intake process, facilitates admissions, and maintains communication among referral sources, families, patients, and unit staff.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred, and possess 2-3 years of experience in substance abuse/psychiatric treatment, preferably including intake/admissions and managed care. Licensure by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing is required, along with specific certifications to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
2-3 years in substance abuse/psychiatric treatment programs, including experience in intake/admissions and managed care preferred.
