The dental hygienist will conduct comprehensive oral exams, perform cleanings, administer fluoride treatments, take X-rays, and educate patients on preventative oral hygiene practices. Responsibilities also include accurately documenting patient care and collaborating with the dentist and team members.
Candidates must possess a State Dental Hygiene Licensure and have completed a minimum of two years of post-secondary education from an accredited dental hygiene program. A demonstrated desire to work specifically in a pediatric setting is also required.
