Under the direction of a Radiologist, the technologist performs radiographic procedures, operating x-ray equipment to produce diagnostically acceptable films for interpretation. This role also involves documenting patient history and reporting all completed procedures and reports to the radiologist.

Performs a variety of tasks involved in operating x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated body portions and Produces diagnostically acceptable films for radiologist interpretation.
Documents patient history, prepares documentation of all procedures/reports completed and reports this to the radiologist.
Maintains courtesy, professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with patients, staff and physicians.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have satisfactorily completed formal radiologic technology training from an AMA-approved school.
