The Certified Nursing Assistant assists professional nursing staff by providing direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and emotional support. This role involves performing various clinical skills and general nursing care tasks under the direction of licensed nursing personnel.
Candidates must have completed a course for nursing assistants, possess a current Nursing Assistant Certification and BLS Certification, and have a minimum of six months' experience in an acute or long-term care facility. Fluency in English, good attendance, and basic computer knowledge are also required.
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent including education equivalent to completion of secondary school or demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the role. (Preferred) Licenses/Certification CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of practice Upon Hire (Required) and BCLS - Basic Life Support Like AHA or Red Cross Within Facility-Specified time frame (Required) Experience 6 months in an acute care or long-term care facility (Preferred)
