The Pharmacy Intern supports the department mission by ensuring the right patient receives the right medication safely and timely under pharmacist supervision, developing understanding of the drug distribution system. Responsibilities include participating in rounds, monitoring medication therapies, assisting pharmacists, and filling/delivering medications.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Studies and obtain a state-specific Pharmacy Intern License. Preferred experience is 0-1 year in pharmacy, along with the ability to learn computer skills and demonstrate strong communication and judgment capabilities.
