The role involves providing licensed professional nursing care to support cardiovascular physicians, performing tasks such as triage, documentation, injections, and coordinating patient care both in-clinic and via phone. Responsibilities also include assisting with specialized procedures like Coumadin clinics, blood draws, and pacemaker checks, while managing administrative duties like form processing and supply ordering.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma and a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Louisiana, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, though ACLS is a plus. Required skills include proficiency in clinical documentation, EMR systems, patient communication, triage, blood draws, and adherence to clinical protocols.
