The Home Health RN is responsible for providing home-based care to patients with various conditions, making decisions based on their nursing education and experience. This role involves examining patients, completing assessments, documenting progress, reporting changes to physicians, and educating patients and family members on care plans and safety.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license in Georgia, and a minimum of 2 years of home healthcare nursing experience is preferred. Essential requirements include HCHB charting experience, CPR certification, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass required background checks and drug screening.
