Requirements summary
Candidates must be graduates of an ARRT accredited program in Radiologic Technology and have at least one year of dedicated MRI experience or be graduates of an approved MRI training program. Certification in ARRT MR is required.

About the Position for Qualified Candidates
Up to $0.50 Certification Pay Job Summary Operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner(s) within all guidelines of MRI safety. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of MRI safety zones and practices all safety guidelines. Interview/screen patient for appropriateness of exam and patient history and documents such accurately. Explain MRI procedures to patient/family for ultimate success of exam. Administer appropriate contrast media intravenously and accurately evaluate images to ensure quality and diagnostic status of exam.
