The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for management and delivery of patient care to assigned patients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Compensation & Premium Incentives Base

Salary Range

$38.00 – $62.74 per hour (Determined case-by-case based on experience, education, and certifications). Sign-On Bonus: Competitive signing incentives available (Eligibility determined at time of offer). Shift Differentials: Premium pay rates applied directly to evening and overnight hours. Financial Bonuses: Direct cash payouts awarded upon achieving specialty clinical certifications.

Team Impact As a Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide high-quality patient care across a variety of inpatient departments based on your experience and clinical competencies. From Medical/Surgical and Behavioral Health to the Emergency Department and ICU, you'll care for diverse patient populations while adapting to different clinical environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy variety, value flexibility, and are eager to expand their clinical knowledge while making a meaningful impact wherever they are needed most. The Impact You Can Make As an RN, you hold primary accountability for organizing, managing, and delivering comprehensive nursing care to your assigned group of patients within the scope of the New York State Nurse Practice Act.
  • In this role, you will: Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans. Coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive clinical outcomes and seamless transitions of care. Monitor patient conditions, implement appropriate interventions, and adjust care plans based on changing needs and treatment goals. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, self-care, and discharge instructions. Utilize electronic health record systems to document care accurately and maintain compliance with organizational standards. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, communicate effectively with team members, and ensure safe patient handoffs. Delegate and supervise nursing support staff appropriately while maintaining accountability for patient care delivery. Support a culture of safety, teamwork, quality improvement, and professional excellence through active participation in unit and organizational initiatives.

Requirements

Graduation from a Registered Professional Nursing Program and a current RN license in New York are required. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
