The physician will provide emergency medical care to patients of varying acuity levels, managing patient flow and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams. Duties include performing assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, collaborating with staff, and ensuring accurate documentation.
Candidates must have an active LA license and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine, along with required DEA certification. Residency training is required, and specific certifications like ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are necessary if not ABEM certified.
