The Clinical Psychologist will screen and interview patients, conduct psychological and bio-psychosocial evaluations, and determine the appropriateness of services within the primary care setting. Responsibilities also include developing and teaching educational classes and providing high-level expertise in human behavior as part of the primary care team.
Applicants must possess a Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to clinical psychology and must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level, involving psychological evaluations, treatment plan development, and counseling services. A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently is also required.

Major Duties: Screen and interview patients, and perform psychological and bio-psychosocial evaluations. Determine the appropriateness of the patient receiving services in the primary care setting. Use objective and measurable outcomes to evaluate treatment effectiveness. Develop, teach, and provide oversight for classes that promote education and skill-building. Provide high level expertise in human behavior as a primary care team member. PERFORMS OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
