The Medical Assistant is responsible for rooming patients, collecting assessment data, and assisting physicians with examinations and clinical procedures. Additionally, they handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited medical assistant program and obtain CPR or BLS certification within 90 days. Experience in a clinic setting and training in phlebotomy, specimen collection, and injections are preferred.
The Medical Assistant provides support with the daily activities of a medical office.
