The Family Nurse Practitioner will complete medical History and Physicals (H&Ps) within 24 hours of patient admission to the Mental Health & Recovery Center and assist with any medical consults arising within the psychiatric unit. Responsibilities also include conducting comprehensive physical and psychiatric assessments, ordering tests, developing care plans, and providing patient education and counseling.

Riverside Health Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Riverside Mental Health & Recovery Center in Hampton, Virginia
This full-time role consists of four 10-hour shifts per week, with no on-call responsibilities. The provider will focus, the FNP will complete medical H&Ps within 24 hours of the patients’ admission to RMHRC. In addition, the FNP will assist with any medical consults that come up within the psychiatric unit. Additional shifts may be available for those interested in supplemental compensation.
