The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care to a designated group of patients, including observation, data collection, planning, implementation, and evaluation of physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs. Key duties involve maintaining 24-hour accountability for quality of care, completing required health assessments, administering medications, and triaging emergent medical issues.
A minimum requirement is an Associate's Degree in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing, along with BLS Certification and successful completion of CPI training within three months of hire. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and candidates must successfully complete a medication competency exam.

The Registered Professional Nurse in CARS is responsible for the provision of direct patient care to a designated group of patients, in a fast paced multi-faceted department. These responsibilities will include the observation data collection, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient's physical, psychological, emotional, educational and spiritual needs.
• Graduate of an Accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
• Repetitive use of hands and fingers (e.g., Use of computer keyboard); may require lifting and carrying light loads (up to 40 lbs), including boxes, equipment, IV solutions and stooping and kneeling (e.g., to pick up items from the floor, to remove and replace items on lower shelves and to file documents in lower file drawers); sitting, walking, or standing for long periods of time may be necessary; must be able physically to operate the equipment used for the job.
