Radiologic Technologists administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes, performing a full scope of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures while acquiring and analyzing necessary diagnostic data. They are responsible for preparing, administering, and documenting medications and radiation exposure in compliance with all relevant laws and policies.
Candidates must graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology, and new graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within six months of hire. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and a minimum of one year of related work experience.
New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months of the date of hire. Applicants hired after March 10, 2024, must complete steps required for advancing to level 2 within 24 months.
