About the Role

We’re hiring a Direct Care Worker to provide high-quality, compassionate care to individuals with developmental disabilities in a day program setting to live a more independent life. As a Direct Care Worker, you’ll support individuals with social, emotional, and environmental support to help them achieve greater independence. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to ensuring that individuals are supported in a respectful and dignified manner.

Responsibilities: ● Provide direct care to individuals participating in the day program

● Assist in training new staff to ensure consistent service delivery

● Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state regulations and internal policies

● Administer medication and ensure proper documentation and tracking of all medications

● Encourage the development of life skills to promote independence

● Support indiviudals in participating in community activities and daily routines

Required Qualifications: ● At least 18 years old

● High School Diploma or equivalent

● Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a good driving record

Preferred Qualifications: ● Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities

● Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
