The Registered Nurse assumes primary accountability for nursing coordination and individualized care for patients of all ages, utilizing delegation and critical thinking skills to provide quality service collaboratively. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, administering treatments, and educating patients and families.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or an approved program eligible for Virginia RN licensure, and must currently hold or be eligible for Virginia RN licensure. Required certification is AHA BLS-HCP, and computer skills for electronic medical records (EPIC) are mandatory.
