AdvisaCare is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our exceptional team!

As a part of our mission to deliver high-quality, personalized care, you will provide occupational therapy services to improve the quality of life for patients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities Perform assessments to evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.

Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' skills in daily living and work activities.

Educate patients and families on techniques to promote independence and safety in their homes.

Document treatment outcomes and patient progress in accordance with regulatory and company standards.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of therapy services.

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program, or Associates degree for COTA.

Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist or COTA in Michigan.

Prior experience in a home health or similar setting is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Must have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (or Associate's for COTA) and hold a current state license to practice in Michigan. Prior experience in a home health setting is preferred, along with strong communication skills and reliable transportation.
