Hours: Full Time (36 Hours Weekly), Temporary, Variable Shift
The Primary Care Nurse is in charge of the resident care for a specific group of residents, to include, supervision of team members including Shahbazim. Nursing services delivered by the Shahbazim are supervised by and directly accountable to the director of nursing (DNS) through the licensed nurses in the homes. The Primary Care Nurse coordinates referrals to other members of the clinical support team, families and physicians. The Primary Care Nurse serves as the point of contact for elder information.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Applicants must be graduates of an accredited School of Nursing and possess an Alaska Registered Nurse License and a National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred qualifications include six months of nursing experience in a healthcare facility and supervision/leadership experience.
