Key duties involve managing patient care, including restraint, triage, sample collection, diagnostic imaging, and providing nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases. Assistants will also be responsible for administering medications, communicating treatment plans to clients, and assisting with surgery and anesthetic management.
Candidates should possess a minimum of one year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant and demonstrate strong qualities such as compassion, calmness, teamwork, multi-tasking, and communication skills. Proficiency in sample collection, medical history taking, lab processing, radiography, and anesthesia monitoring is considered a bonus.
