About the role

This overnight position involves comprehensive patient care including restraint, triage, sample collection, diagnostic imaging, and managing hospitalized medical cases from 7 PM to 7 AM. Responsibilities also include administering medications and effectively communicating treatment plans to clients, alongside surgical preparation and assistance.

We currently have eight doctors of veterinary medicine and over sixty support staff between our hospital, grooming facility, and boarding and training facility.

Our team is like our family, and we are looking for individuals who are self-starters, have a willingness to learn, and can multi-task in a fast-paced veterinary hospital.Job DescriptionJob duties include, but are not limited to:This is an overnight position 7pm-7amPet restraint, triage incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients and surgical preparation and assistance.Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises.

Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant and possess qualities such as compassion, calmness, teamwork, multi-tasking ability, and strong communication skills.
