The Clinical Laboratory Scientist Generalist reports to the Administrative Director or a laboratory supervisor, ensuring high-quality laboratory services are provided. This role involves cooperative work with the Laboratory Director, supervisors, pathologists, and colleagues to serve all age groups from infants to geriatrics.
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist Generalist is accountable to the Administrative Director of the laboratory or a laboratory supervisor. The CLS-G will work cooperatively in conjunction with the Laboratory Director, Lab Supervisors, Pathologists and fellow employees in order to assure high quality laboratory services for all age groups from infants to geriatric.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in science or a degree from a Medical Technology Program. A mandatory requirement is being licensed as a Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS-G or CLS-S) by the LSBME.
