Education: Masters degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Degree

The APRN/PA works in collaboration with physicians and other patient care team members, in an active practice to deliver health care services to patients and families. Provides direct patient care. Performs procedures and prescribes medications under protocol. Provides patient education and counseling. Participates in the marketing, evaluation and growth at JMC. The position will support all of cardiology physicians.

Threshold Requirements These threshold requirements are required and completed yearly basis, Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee, TB/PPD Surveillance Program. Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Nursing or a Physician Assistant Degree, along with licensure in Florida as an APRN/RN or Physician Assistant.
