The role involves performing diagnostic imaging studies according to physician orders, preparing and transporting patients, and managing imaging equipment and image verification in RIS and PACS systems. Responsibilities also include assessing patient conditions, explaining procedures, and operating complex radiographic equipment while adhering to ALARA standards.
Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree in Radiology from an approved two-year program and have up to 1 year of required experience. Essential qualifications include current CPR Certification, basic computer skills, knowledge of ALARA guidelines, State licensure, and ARRT certification.

Minimum Education: Must be a graduate of an approved two or four ‑year program Minimum Work Experience: Clinical program completion Required Licenses/Certifications: Must possess or be eligible for a KY state license Licensed by ARRT Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: n Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately n Ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals n Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred n Basic computer knowledge is preferred n Ability to move or lift patients and equipment n Ability to work independently within general guidelines n Ability to communicate in English, both orally and written n Required to comply with OSHA regulations for the N95 respirator training and fit testing
