The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant will work directly with patients in their homes to help them live safely and productively by empowering them to complete necessary daily tasks. This involves assisting patients and families in adapting their environment, modifying tasks, and utilizing equipment to enhance participation in daily activities and improve overall quality of life.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant school with an Associate Degree and hold current State Certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant. A valid Driver's License, current CPR certification, and completion of a negative TB screen and Hepatitis consent/declination are also mandatory minimum qualifications.
