The role involves providing Comprehensive Community Support Services (CCSS) to adults with severe behavioral health disorders and children with serious emotional disorders, aiming to enhance their quality of life and independent functioning within the community. Responsibilities include administrative support, coordinating referrals, assisting providers with primary screenings, and delivering direct support services like skills training and crisis intervention.
require a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/BLS certification, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, along with strong communication, emotional intelligence, and discretion. Preferred qualifications include education in related human services fields and obtaining CCSS or SBIRT certifications shortly after employment.
High school diploma or GED equivalent Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other standard office technologies. Ability to perform duties and responsibilities with dignity, calm, accuracy, and confidentiality in all contacts with employees, managers, and the public. High level of emotional intelligence, strong listening skills, and the ability to respond thoughtfully and appropriately in varying situations. Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
Education or Experience in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Family Studies, Special Education and Human Service or a related field. Comprehensive Community Support Specialist (CCSS) or ability to obtain certification within 90-120 days of employment. SBIRT-Twelve (12) hours of motivational interview training or ability to obtain certification within 90-120 days of employment.
