The technologist performs interventional, diagnostic, and/or therapeutic radiology procedures for all age groups utilizing ionizing radiation and other imaging modalities to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Employees are subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.
Candidates must graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology school and must become ARRT registered and licensed through the Texas Medical Board within 90 days of program completion. BLS certification is required within 14 days of hire or transfer before providing direct patient care.
Performs interventional, diagnostic and/or therapeutic radiology procedures for all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) by utilizing ionizing radiation and other imaging modalities in order to aid in the diagnoses and treatment of disease. Employees will be subject to overtime and call back as required by hospital.
