The role involves providing direct and indirect patient care, which includes accurate patient assessment, administering prescribed medications, and formulating effective patient teaching plans. Responsibilities also cover collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, assisting physicians with procedures, and addressing the psychosocial needs of patients and families.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and possess computer literacy. Minimum licensure requires an RN license, and BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire, with ACLS/PALS being preferred.
