The Technical Specialist is responsible for the accurate collection, preparation, and processing of patient specimens while providing excellent customer service and adhering strictly to laboratory protocols. This role acts as a liaison ensuring timely and compliant handling of all specimens and related documentation.
No prior experience is required for non-phlebotomy collectors as training is provided, though phlebotomists must be proficient in venipuncture. Candidates must demonstrate effective professional communication, possess a high level of integrity for handling sensitive information, and be adaptable to working in treatment and recovery center environments.
