The role is responsible for performing patient care activities and procedures as outlined by the state board of nursing and within the Nevada Nurse Practice Act. All assigned duties must be performed under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Candidates must complete the education/experience necessary to obtain CNA Certification from the Nevada State Board of Nursing and hold a current CNA license in Nevada along with current BLS certification. Applicants must also demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to provide appropriate care for the age of patients served in the assigned unit.
