The radiation therapist is responsible for the safe administration of high doses of ionizing radiation under the direct supervision of the radiation oncologist. Responsibilities include acquiring and analyzing data for patient treatment, using imaging technologies for localization, and participating in treatment planning.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiological Sciences Program in Radiation Therapy or an equivalent two-year Certificate Program. One year of experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
