The Interventional Cardiologist will provide seamless 24/7 on-call services, working with hospitalists who manage the adult inpatient population and a 12-bed ICU. Responsibilities include covering all patients and managing a spectrum of services including STEMI, NSTEMI care, Echo, EKG reads, and Stress Testing.

About this role

As a Physician in Interventional Cardiology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide seamless 24-7 On call services, and work with our hospitalists who manage adult inpatient population and a12 bed ICU.

  • You will practice at Intermountain Medical Group & St. James Hospital in Butte, MT
  • Call is 1:3, with excess call paid out at $1320/24 hour shift
  • Level 3 Trauma Center
  • ACC Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI
  • Multiple year Platinum Awards recipient for Chest Pain MI Registry
  • Heli-Pad onsite
  • Impella onsite
  • 2 Cath Labs with highly skilled team
  • Cover all patients (assigned, unassigned, etc.)
  • 24/7 STEMI- average 4 STEMI/month
  • Broader spectrum of services including NSTEMI care
  • Echo and EKG reads
  • Stress Testing
  • Volumes are low

How we'll support you

Compensation

  • We offer a generous package that includes a base salary plus a wRVU incentive.
  • $725,000.00 Annual Base Salary
  • wRVU incentive of $65/wRVU paid after 10,180 threshold is reached
  • Call Burden is ~1:3, with excess call paid out at $1320/24 hour shift
  • $25,000.00 Sign-On
  • $10,000.00 - $20,000 Relocation (if eligible)
  • $100,000.00 towards Student Loan Balance (if eligible)

What you’ll bring

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • ACGME accredited residency training in Interventional Cardiology
  • ABMS board certification or eligibility in Interventional Cardiology
  • Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • BLS certification and DEA
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

Requirements
