The technologist must perform high-quality CT and Diagnostic X-ray imaging services according to physician orders, ensuring patient safety and adhering to prescribed safety standards. Essential duties include operating equipment, processing images, applying knowledge of growth and development for age-specific patient care, and maintaining strict confidentiality.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and must have graduated from an accredited radiologic technology program. Required credentials include Washington State Certification as a Radiologic Technologist and Basic Life Support certification. Preferred qualifications include one year of experience in a hospital setting and direct cross-sectional anatomy experience.
One (1) year experience in a hospital setting. One (1) year of direct cross-sectional anatomy experience. One (1) year of recent direct experience in diagnostic x-ray procedures.
