The role involves performing advanced computed tomography procedures to generate high-resolution diagnostic images for disease and injury diagnosis. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, administering contrast media and medications, adhering to radiation safety protocols, and collaborating on clinical documentation.
Minimum requirements include obtaining a BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire and holding a Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification in General Practice. Candidates must also possess specific ARRT or NMTCB credentials related to Radiography or Computed Tomography, along with educational requirements ranging from a High School diploma/equivalency with 2 years of experience to an Associate's degree.
