The RN or LPN will provide skilled, compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes, adhering to all applicable regulations and policies. Key duties include monitoring patient status, evaluating responses to care, educating caregivers, and completing accurate clinical documentation.
Applicants must possess an active, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of employment, along with a valid CPR certification and the ability to pass a background screening. New graduate nurses are welcome, as structured, hands-on training is provided.
The RN or LPN provides skilled, compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes in accordance with FFHC policies, State Nurse Practice Acts, and all applicable state and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities Deliver nursing care within scope of licensure (RN or LPN) Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation Monitor patient status and evaluate response to care Report changes in condition to the physician and nurse supervisor Educate patients and caregivers on care plans and medical needs Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities Support team members during patient-specific orientations Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance standards Attend required trainings and in-services Communicate professionally with families, providers, and team members Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Required Active, unencumbered RN or LPN license in state of employment (Compact license accepted where applicable) New graduates welcome — training provided Valid CPR certification (in-person, instructor-led skills check) Knowledge of applicable Nurse Practice Acts Clear background screening Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance (where applicable) TB screening (state-specific) Hepatitis B screening (state-specific) Preferred Pediatric or homecare experience (not required) Florida Applicants Background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse may be required based on role.
