Caregivers will assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and safe transfers, while also preparing simple, nutritious meals and tidying living spaces. Responsibilities also include providing medication reminders, supporting gentle exercise, and offering meaningful companionship through conversation or outings.
Candidates should ideally have prior experience as a caregiver, HHA, or PCA, although training is available for suitable applicants. Essential requirements include current CPR/First Aid certification (or commitment to obtain within 30 days), the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong, compassionate communication skills.
