The Physician Assistant will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating new and existing orthopedic patients, providing medical services for acute and chronic conditions, and establishing patient care plans. Essential duties also include ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, maintaining detailed medical notes, and prescribing medications under supervision.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant program and hold a Bachelor's degree, along with 2-4 years of required clinical experience and state licensure. Key abilities include excellent communication, strong decision-making skills, proficiency with EMR systems, and the capacity to work effectively as a team player.

This Physician’s Assistant position is a critical component of CT Orthopaedics practice. The responsibilities include, surgical assistance, pre-operative and post-operative management of Orthopaedic patients. This position is responsible for evaluating and diagnosing new and existing patient conditions. This position also works very closely with our operations team including the physicians.
