The coordinator ensures patient assessments comply with established standards, involving accurate data extraction from clinical documentation and timely submission for Medicare patients. Key duties include educating staff on proper documentation and serving as the primary resource for Quality Indicator coding and IRF-PAI completion issues.
Candidates must be a licensed or certified clinician in healthcare, such as an RN, PT, OT, or therapist, and possess at least one year of healthcare experience. Preferred qualifications include experience in rehab or post-acute care, strong teaching, communication, and organizational skills.
License or Certification: Licensed or certified clinician in healthcare (RN, LPN, PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP, Recreational Therapist, Respiratory Therapist, case manager/social worker) QI Credentialed Obtain UDS IRF PPS Certification after 2 years in the PASC role and before the 3rd-year anniversary.
Ability to perform assessments. 1 year of healthcare experience. Attend all EHC IRF-PAI trainings.
