The Phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining satisfactory blood specimens and assisting in routine analysis by performing clerical, computer, and limited technical duties. Incumbents must be prepared for assigned weekends, holidays, and on-call duty.
Candidates must have completed a Phlebotomy training course and possess basic computer skills, with Phlebotomy registration and CPR certification being preferred. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and maintain manual dexterity for equipment operation.
