The Nocturnist will cover hospitalist duties during night shifts, typically from 6 PM to 6 AM, managing an average of 5 to 11 patient admissions per night. Coverage is single physician supported by a midlevel provider, with no procedures required and full subspecialty backup available.
The group is seeking an IM or FP trained physician for this full-time role, which operates on a 7 nights on/7 nights off schedule. Candidates should be prepared for night coverage in an open ICU setting, although no coding is required unless managing own patients.
