The role involves seeing up to 30 patients daily, responsible for general clinical and procedural patient care under provider supervision, and assisting in delivering an excellent patient experience. Independently performed tasks include rooming patients, collecting vitals, administering injections, performing EKGs, lab testing, and wound care.
Applicants must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and have graduated from a recognized Medical Assistant program or be a Certified Medical Assistant. Key requirements include attention to detail, excellent documentation skills, CPR certification within three months, and knowledge of ICD-10/CPT coding, with familiarity in EPIC EMR being strongly preferred.

Prior experience in ambulatory health care facility preferred 4. Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians. 5. Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards. 6. CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment. 7. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding 8. Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred. 9. Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.
